Marnie Hauschildt, Pianist

Introduction: Private lessons are available for intermediate and advanced students in NYC. Pianist Marnie Hauschildt is an active soloist, collaborator, chamber and orchestral musician. She holds a master's degree in collaborative piano from The Juilliard School, where she was a full scholarship recipient, as well as a master's degree in solo piano from the University of British Columbia. Originally from Vancouver, she has won top prizes in the Canadian Music Competitions, Registered Music Teachers' Association National competition and BC Provincial festival, and received the gold medal for the highest mark in Canada on the A.R.C.T. piano exams. She has performed at venues, such as Carnegie, Avery Fisher, Alice Tully and Merkin halls in NYC and the Arsht Center and New World Center in Miami. Summer festivals attended include Tanglewood, Music Academy of the West, and Kneisel Hall. Marnie spent the past three years as the principal pianist of the New World Symphony in Miami and will be returning to NYC in September 2013 and establishing a studio of private students.
