FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Clients who can afford a more expensive studio are welcome to pay my going rate, 80 an hour. I also work out of a studio midtown Manhattan that charges half that if you sign up for a block of lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start by seeing what they what you can do on your own, even for a beginner. I ask you to tell me a bit bout yourself, and what brought you here. Do you have goals - professional or otherwise? One voice student wanted to be able to sing falsetto for some of his karaoke songs with his friends, without his voice cracking. Another was a widow of a man high up in an organisation, and took singing to develop confidence in her speaking voice. Another business woman wanted to be able to play the piano and sing for singalongs at her house parties.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Attached resumes will show extensive training. I studied with the first generation of students of great masters. And my mother was a teacher, so I learned about teaching strategies very early on.
