Introduction: I'm very approachable, relaxed, and informal (when the occasion calls for it). I ensure that my subjects are relaxed in front of the camera in order to get the most natural reactions. I build rapport as we go, and the pre-shoot (where I get to know you and your interests) is just as important as the final results. Taking a photo of someone is a very personal thing. You're being allowed to share in that person's or those people's humanity. Every moment can be special, and photography helps ingrain these memories in our lives.

I had an excellent portrait shoot with Martim. He was fluid, calming, and knew how to get the best shot of you. The whole experience felt very organic and natural. As a result, my photos came out the best I ever had. I highly recommend him.

Martim was simply great. We hired him for our newborn photoshoot. He was very responsive and great to work with even before he arrived on site. While here, he was very patient with the baby. He had some very creative ideas for the photoshoot and even took a few additional pictures with the rest of the family. I would highly recommend him, and would definitely hire him in the future.

We met Martim at Central Park for a photo shoot and he was very personable and professional. Our time was limited due to daylight savings but we made the best of the situation and got some great shots in the limited time that we had.

We booked Martim for a 2-hour family photo shoot in Central Park. He was super friendly and worked with our rambunctious almost-3 year old to get some amazing photos. Definitely recommend. (The photos attached here are much lower quality than he sent! I just lifted them from instagram.)
