Introduction: My clients tend to be high functioning individuals and couples who are looking to work through a specific issue or feeling that they have been struggling with. We work to create a safe, warm environment where together we can work through the presenting problem and any underlying issues in order for my clients to live a rich life full of love, serenity, and hope. The greatest reward of my job is being able to work everyday with people who are searching to grow and to live life as fully as possible. I am constantly amazed and inspired by the courage and inner strength of my clients.

I was referred to Gary Katz by a friend of mine. After my experience I highly recommend the services. I used his services for couples relationship counseling. My relationship with my partner was in shambles. He was able to get us back on track by really listening to us and providing real options for our situation. He provided a safe and comfortable environment for us to address uncomfortable issues. We had issues with trust and communications. He gave us different activities to help us be more successful with our communication and to rebuild trust. I must mention that although I was there for couples counseling, the information I learned during my sessions help to save and better other relationships at work and with my family. In New York, it is not uncommon for people to have relationship problems resulting in stress and anxiety because of those problems. I needed someone who would understand, and I found Gary Katz Counseling online when my insurance was not giving me the best options out there. It is worth the time and effort to see Gary. He has helped me tremendously, something I never thought a therapist would be able to do but I needed someone to talk to. He made me feel very comfortable, and let me know I was not alone, and every time I get out of a meeting with him I feel more confident in myself and healed just a little bit more. Definitely the best counseling I've been to.

Make sure you feel comfortable with the therapist you choose. Make sure they are attentive and you feel that they understand you. In my experience, if you don't feel comfortable and safe, you won't be able to share what you need to talk about.
