Introduction: I am a young professional living and working in NYC, fluent in Spanish and looking for translation and tutoring opportunities. I am comfortable with projects of all kinds, including text translation, in-person translation and tutoring.
I graduated in May 2013 from Barnard College with a degree in Spanish/Latin American Cultures and Human Rights, where I received the Barnard College Spanish Award.
I have lived in both Spain and Peru. I currently work as case manager with the HIV/AIDS population, and roughly 40% of my clients are monolingual Spanish speakers.
My previous experience includes translating NGO action points into Spanish for the United Nations Security Council, and I have various tutoring experiences.
I am happy to travel within Manhattan and surrounding boroughs if in-person translation is needed. I am also open to tutoring opportunities, and I am comfortable working with all ages. I am friendly and flexible according to your goals!
