Symposium NYC

The Greek word 'Symposion' derives from the verb 'Sympinein', "to drink together" and describes a key Hellenic social institution. It was a forum to debate, plot, boast or simply to revel with others. The equivalent in Roman society is the Latin Convivium. Liven up by a similar spirit, we propose a series of meetings aiming to offer an encompassing cultural experience, where the wine opens the way to deeper knowledge of Italy, its culture, its history and not lastly, its fantastic language. It's not just a tasting group, although some of the essential elements of tasting will be introduced, but it's rather an opportunity for discussion and cultural exchange between people who share a deep and sincere love for Italy and for the extraordinary uniqueness of its products.
