Take into consideration not only the resumes of your potential violin instructors, but also their personalities. A teacher/student relationship depends greatly on the ability of a teacher to communicate with the student in a way that can most effectively promote understanding and the growth of ideas. There must be a compatibility between the two personalities for a positive and productive learning environment to exist.
