FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pay structure is pretty simple. There is a set price for single lessons and a package price for lessons pre-paid 4 at a time. I try very hard to be as negotiable as possible with those that have difficulty paying my rate. http://www.bodysinging.com
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Voice is a tricky instrument to learn. It is easy to take the wrong steps and actually cost yourself a great deal more time. It is also very important to find someone who truly understands vocal mechanics and technique to avoid damaging your voice. Research the teachers you are looking at. Do not go to a voice teacher just because they are less expensive. Teaching voice well requires a great deal of study and experience. You would not seek out the cheapest Doctor. There is a very big difference between a voice coach and a voice teacher. A great teacher can truly give you a tour and insight to how the instrument (voice) really works and help you feel and coordinate it. And then, along the way they can guide and coach you to properly using it in context to singing. http://www.bodysinging.com
