Introduction: Learn to sing with Martin Sola. With more than 20 years of vocal instruction, my students have performed on Broadway, National Tours, and in regional theaters throughout the country. I am currently on the Faculty at Lafayette College in Easton, PA ; where I teach in both the theater and music departments. I hold a Master's Degree in Music from the University of Illinois, and have performed on Broadway, at Carnegie Hall, with New York City Opera, and many stages throughout the United States and internationally. My Philosophy: Anyone can learn to sing through determination, hard work, and careful practice. In singing, one's body is one's instrument. The first step towards developing a reliable singing voice is understanding the function and mechanics of how the body and breath work together to support and free the voice.
