I am an active professional singer but I really enjoy helping others with the many things I have learned during my career. There are no secrets, magic pills, or even magic teachers! It is a 50-50 working relationship between the student and the teacher, and both must be dedicated and determined to improve. I am dedicated to the art of singing, and will always give you honest feedback, which is what you need to grow. Known as an exciting and dynamic performer and teacher, he inspires his students with a creative and custom-made lesson plan to fit each student. More importantly than that, Sean is a current and active professional singer who has sung all musical styles throughout the US and on three continents! Therefore his students receive all of the benefits of having an active working singer as their mentor. Most recent studio news: after taking just 2 lessons with Sean, a young man was accepted into the prestigious La Guardia High School for the Performing Arts! His mother said "we owe it all to your teaching!" Other students have gone on to professional singing in NYC and elsewhere, in churches, professional choruses, and weddings. Lesson Details I have been a professional singer for 15 years, and I have sung a variety of styles from classical, to pop, to Broadway. My specialty and career is classical, but I feel comfortable helping in the other styles I mentioned also. I share all the useful tips and techniques I've learned from my own experiences with my students. I also use a series of exercises and invent others to best suit each student. I believe that There isn't just ONE way to teach everybody, because each person is unique, both physically and emotionally.
