- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons include a practice journal, repertoire book, take home exercises, and an audio recording of the lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will first discuss your goals and create a road map together for accomplishing them. We will pick repertoire together that speaks to you and challenges you at each level of your technical growth. We will start each lesson with warm-up exercises that will familiarize areas of strength (vocal: breath and resonance, piano: posture and agility, acting: an authentic connection to your self). The second part of the lesson focuses on repertoire for practicing techniques and expression. If you have any auditions or performances for which you are preparing, we will discuss rubric and how to prepare successfully.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Music from Mannes College The New School for Music. I am also the Artistic Director of Opera Upper West, an immersive theatre on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, dedicated to authentic drama rooted in the human experience.
