To any gay couples looking for an officiant in New York,
My partner (now husband) and I decided to get married last fall. Since we live in Missouri, which doesn't recognize gay marriage, we decided on getting married in New York.
I looked on the internet for wedding officiants in New York. After a process of elimination, I called Rev. Woody. After our initial conversation, we knew he was the right person for our ceremony. Woody gave us "homework" to do to make our wedding our own.
We met with Woody a few days before the ceremony to finalize details. He kept us sane with a checklist for us to follow. He also physically visited the park where we were to be married to make sure there were no issues. The day of the wedding, he texted us numerous reminders about rings, license forms, etc. We really appreciated that extra care.
The ceremony was better than we ever could have imagined. Since my partner and I had been together 24 years, and the wedding seemed a bit anti-climatic, Woody added touches of humor to the event.
My husband and I were very pleased with Rev. Woody. He made our special day something "truly special".

Rev woody is a star! He is a pro and takes his role very seriously but creates the perfect ceremony for YOU! His rock and roll meets proud gay man persona is ideal to create a cool and meaningful ceremony!
