Darien did such a great job on my wedding day. She was punctual, flexible, and very very easy going. She was a nice person to be around, and plus she had so so many creative ideas on how we pose for the photos (everything came out wonderful). I am glad I chose her as my photographer on my big day!

I can truly recommend Darien! She was able to get so amazing photos out of us - and we're the two most unphotogenic people you can find. We traveled all the way from Finland to get married in NYC, I felt so at ease on my wedding day. She was very flexible, making sure we get all the photos we wanted, and she was also affordable. I would do another photo shoot with Darien any day.

Darien did a great job shooting our 90 person wedding back in November 2017. She is easy going yet professional, responds quickly to emails/texts and produces great work. She has a great eye for candids and edits her photos beautifully (no over processing or instagram-esque filters). We were also really impressed with how well she shot in our dim, candle lit venue. I would highly recommend Darien, especially to anyone looking for more natural vs. staged photos.

We contacted Darien Maginn via Thumbtack less than 2 months till our wedding day, and were pleasantly surprised that she was willing and available to take us on at such (in wedding planning standards) short notice. She responded rather quickly despite the fact that she was out of the country, soon to return. For our wedding, she was on time, she was very nice and professional, she was enthusiastically happy to be at our wedding, she was more than happy to stay the whole time till the end. She met the Bride-To-Be a few hours before the ceremony to take photographs of her getting ready. And the photos are absolutely wonderful. In the contract she says that it may take some time to get the photos as she needs to edit them - totally worth it and nothing to worry about as she also sends you a sneak peek of photos soon after the wedding. When we did receive our digital photos (as many as you could ever want) we were so happy as how they turned out! Darien Maginn is an excellent photographer - the photos are exactly what we wanted, and what we were expecting after viewing her website. She is professional, caring, passionate about her work. We wouldn't want anybody else to be our photographer. We'll definitely hire her again for future celebrations.
