- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ms. Greenfield began practicing Yoga in Nepal at age 18. She is an E-RYT 200 yoga teacher. As a certified Yoga teacher Ms. Greenfield created and implemented a yoga program for youth leaders who taught that program to over 500 children at the 92nd St. Y. She taught young adults with special needs at the JCC in Manhattan. She has taught yoga to adults and children in the mystical city of Tzaft, Israel, the birthplace of Kabbalah. For over a decade Ms. Greenfield has been working with children, adults, and those with special needs. Jan Lauren Greenfield was the founding director at Studio 360 recognized by Details Magazine as one of the top 12 new boutique gyms in America in 2014. She created the nationally recognized and most in demand Signature Series class. Ms. Greenfield received a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College in 2002, studied art at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland and received a Masters in Arts and Cultural Management from Pratt Institute in 2005. She is certified in art therapy in Painting Your Personal Mythology and is proud to be a Wilderness First Responder. She has served as a mentor and program director creating programs including art exhibitions and dance performances in conjunction with the United Nations and the Jewish Heritage Museum. Her photographs have appeared on Vogue Italia online. She is a mixed media artist and has exhibited extensively in solo and group shows in New York and California including A Twelve Tribe Project, plus New Works in Mixed Media & Photography, Oct. 2014- June 2015, at The Jewish Education Project and Am I Too Young for a Retrospective? Oct. 2009 at the Ivy Brown Gallery.
