FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always begin with a full consultation to learn more about a client's goals, medical history, and exercise habits. It's a vital step for me to design a program that is safe and effective. In the first session, I integrate several movement assessments into the workout to further evaluate clients' strengths and weaknesses, and to make sure we're avoiding any exercises that could lead to injury.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to being a certified personal trainer, I am also a Corrective Exercise Specialist. That additional training makes me an expert at correcting movement dysfunctions, which is something that everyone from high-performance athletes to desk workers need. I'm also certified to work with pre- and postnatal clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been dancing for my whole life, and that love of movement was what led me to become a personal trainer. Movement is powerful medicine for our bodies, and I want to share that with people.
