I've been teaching yoga for over ten years here in NYC as well as abroad. I'm a 500 RYT with additional certifications in Restorative, Prenatal and Shamatha meditation from the Om Yoga Center in New York City under the direction of founder, Cyndi Lee. Prior to practicing and studying yoga, I danced professionally in NYC and hold both a BA & MFA in Dance, Performance & Choreography. I provide private sessions and group yoga classes from prenatal and restorative yoga to basics/beginners and advanced practices. Each private session is tailored to your specific lifestyle goals and conveniently catered to your busy schedule. In a group setting, I teach a vigorous yet mindfully-paced vinyasa class; using subtle language to articulate precision & alignment, hands-on adjustments to guide & deepen each student's nuanced practice, and pranayama & intention to encompass the whole. The grounding nature of yoga is at the heart of why I practice and is also what I hope to share with my students... endlessly complex and beautifully simple at the same time, yoga helps us keep everything in perspective.
