FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally estimate the number of hours required to complete a one-time project based on the project details and past experience, and then provide a quote based on the number of hours. I offer ongoing services as well, for which my clients pay a recurring monthly fee, determined by the services they require. Additionally, I provide a-la-carte design, development, consulting, and training services, which can be purchased as-needed for my hourly rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With new customers, I always start with an initial conversation about what they're hoping to change, and how they're hoping it will be different. Depending on what services I'd recommend for their goals, and assuming they've accepted my project proposal, I then ask that the customer fill out a questionnaire that's designed to help me gather all of the additional details I'll need in order to perform those services. Then there's typically some additional organizational items to cover - like account / server access, etc. - after which, I get started on the first steps of the project. Clients can typically expect to know what progress they'll be able to see and when based on the details outlined in their proposal document.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've attended the Advanced Search Marketing Expo Conference, hosted by Search Engine Land, and presented by members of the leading companies in the Search Marketing industry. I have a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience, and in general I make it my responsibility - and one I take very seriously - to remain current on the most recent standards, best practices and developments in digital marketing, website design, and search engine optimization.
