FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Shop around so you feel comfortable with the company you choose. Look at all factors when choosing a company: price, reputation, licensing and the person who you will be working with. Make a spreadsheet to compare them. It's important that there will be one go-to person who you will be able to call and meet with whenever you need to review something. Going to a different person each time will be sure to create errors in your project. Make sure that you like the person and that your personalities mesh well, you will be seeing them a lot. One thing we pride ourselves on is our designer who works with our clients through the entire process and meets with the contractor daily to review the project progress. Also, ask the company if you could look up their corporation license as well as see a copy of their insurance. It's very important to hire someone who is both licensed and insured so that your'e protected if anything goes wrong. Most consumers don't know that if you hire an un-licensed contractor you can't hold them responsible for mistakes or damages to your home.
