Dogs are US!
Top Notch Dog Training is Hudson Valley's premier dog training school. Dog lovers Pat Tetrault and Aggie Poillucci enjoy assisting dogs as well as their owners learn to live in harmony with and understand one another.
After meeting at dog school a number of years in the past, and together training their own dogs, first to prepare for competitions and later to work in the film industry, Aggie and Pat decided that it was time to bequeath their knowledge with the dog-loving community. Each of them bring over twenty-five years of experience to you, using a "let's-build-a-positive-relationship-with-your-dog" approach.
At Top Notch, each of our instructors is experienced, having titled dogs in agility, obedience, canine good citizen, rally o, field work, therapy dog, and conformation championships.
Many of their dogs (as well as student's dogs) regularly work in the film industry, and can be seen in movies, commercials, and TV shows (see "Film Stars" on our website).
Both are committed to assisting those dogs less fortunate than theirs. Pat and Aggie do oodles of Dutchess County SPCA volunteer work. Pat is a previous president, as well as board member, of the DCSPCA, and is a chairman of SOS-SRF, a 501(c)3 dedicated to helping homeless Siberian Huskies.

Thanks to all the great folks at Top Notch for preparing Tucker as a certified Therapy Dog. The kids at the local library all know him by name and look forward to his weekly visit as a Tail Waggin’ Tutor. The individual attention in class is great for the dogs and, more importantly, for the owner! I look forward to more classes as we both continue to grow.

I am a "repeat customer" at Top Notch because of the effectiveness of the training. The training is not only for the dog, but also for the handler. There is always a positive environment which makes training something to look forward to. The training is designed in building blocks so that you can expand to advanced levels if you choose. I have recommended Top Notch to many friends and colleagues, who have seen great success with the training sessions.

Top Notch Dog Training is -- well, it's top notch! I've been training there for ten years with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels; the instructors are both knowledgable and friendly, and ALWAYS put the good of the dogs first. The class fees are very reasonable, too. My dogs and I love our classes there!
