- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is not complicated, but has a few variables. I charge... 1/2 hour lesson $20.00 1 full hour lesson $35.00 1 hour + group lesson $20.00/rider Clinics depending on location, #of riders, level of riders, and any affiliations, such as Pony Club, 4H, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Working with horses and people is an ongoing learning experience. All good instructors and trainers continually watch others and try to learn new and better ways to acheive their goals both with the horses and the riders. There are many ways to accompish the same task. We are constantly looking for better, easier and safer ways for all concerned.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My parents gave me my first pony when I was 5 years old, and horses have been a part of my life ever since. I enjoy being with horses, teaching and training and caring for them.
