After meeting with Jiri one morning and receiving his quote, we hired him instantly because he was kind, professional, and within our budget. Sometimes you get the feeling and you just know! We hired him to completely renovate our small boutique in Williamsburg, and believe me- he had his work cut out for him. The spot was "quaint and cute" before, but it needed a major overhaul after 15 years and now it is a high-end stunning boutique. He was patient and accommodating throughout the whole process, producing exactly what we wanted without any compromise. He rolled with the punches, adding and finishing all of our added, last-minute ideas and requests. Our design was not easy, and our building is very old- but he breathed the proper life back into it and now without question, it is one of the best looking shops in the neighborhood. Thank you so much, Jiri! We are thrilled with he has done for us and we now also call him a friend. We plan to work on more business and personal projects with him in the future. The best!

Jiri from Solid Renovation Performed a full bathroom renovation in my pre-war co-op. Jiri assisted me with the plans and design, selection of materials and performed full construction and general contracting for the project There were several challenges. The plumbing was far older than expected and Jiri had to remove and replace the plumbing behind the walls with new copper piping. Being a licensed plumber, he was able to quickly handle the job. Also, the walls in the bathroom were not square and because they were plaster they were kind of wavy. Jiri and his crew had to devote considerable time to flattening the walls before tiling. Finally, I had requested certain lighting fixtures that didn't fit above the ceiling. Jiri created a nice dropped ceiling effect to accommodate the fixtures. He is very creative and resourceful and is a fantastic problem solver. Jiri is very precise in his work and when he encounters a challenge he doesn't cut corners in order to save time and money. Rather, he strives to remain true to the design plans and works hard to come up with inventive solutions to problems. It was always a pleasure working with Jiri and his assistants. I was nervous going I to this project because my experience with contractors is that they don't show up and that they don't finish the work and the work is sloppy. But Jiri showed up every morning on time, left the work area very clean and was always very precise in his work. He is artistic, and a real perfectionist so it didn't require any effort on my part to monitor his work. I could trust that the project would turn out beautifully. Very simply, because I finish school as a architect so I had always very close to what I'm doing now. It is perfect feeling to design and completed job by my self.

Last year we competed 8 full renovations of the bathrooms in New York area. So this is most common job we do for clients.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice is to have good references from privies clients, that I believe is most trustful information for potential client.
