Introduction: My answer to this question stands true for any type of service I offer. But for this question i'll be referencing wedding photography. My work stand apart from other simply because technically, I was a graphic designer first who became a pro photographer. But more than technically, instinctively i'm a people person. While on the job, I'm not tethered only to my camera. I'm there to serve the bride and groom in relation to my job. If their uncomfortable or if something isn't going right, I step up whenever possible to insure they're accommodated. I've rescued fainting brides from falling, delivered refreshments to them, fixed crooked runners, ran errands, all while on the job as a photographer. See, if they don't look good, there's nothing good to shoot. So I out work others who do what I do. Not because I have to, but because it is who I am as a human.

I have been working with Todd for about 2 years now and he has totally branded my business. My original goal was to have professional photos for the website that I had at the time. Todd came in for a consultation with a ton of ideas that took my business to new levels! From business cards to banners to my AMAZING website he has done it all. He has an eye that captured the essence of my business and my space and brought it to life with video and pictures. If I had to say that there was anything that could be improved upon I'd say delivery time on certain projects could have been better; but with that being said Todd is a perfectionist which sometimes adds time to the work that he does not anticipate. Overall I still rate his service a 5 because he DEFINITELY DELIVERS and his worked has changed the face of my business and raised the bar with my competition.

Todd E Media provided us THE best service, quality and creative genius, on more than one media occasion (in the last 6 months)! Our first event was our 10th wedding anniversary/vow renewal, which turned out exquisite, classy and illustrated the love of our family organically. Our second event, was our daughter's senior pictures. Just to put it simply, she looked elegant and like a future doctor (thanks to Todd's wife Charlyn's suggestion to purchase a doctor' lab coat and stethoscope). Todd is now working on a birthday video clip as a gift for one of our family members out of state. Lastly, but most importantly, the care and family oriented environment that Todd E Media provides, makes the experience much more genuine and honest. Oh, I almost forgot about their amazing, cutting edge and contemporary designs and talents! It makes you feel like you have a Hollywood photographer and a mom-and-pop business at the same time! I consider Todd E Media, our family's media designer.

I would like to take a moment to add to my wife Amalia's review. Todd is very talented and has crafted his art and I was equally impressed with his ability to cover all the bases while maintaining order at our 10th anniversary ceremony and reception. Todd's ability to take control and get the job done with a smile on his face is a unique quality. Todd made sure people were where they needed to be while being professional and courteous the entire time. I can honestly say I cannot think of one photo that "I wish I had", Todd covered all the bases and captured many candid moments as well. Todd also maintained communication throughout the process responding to calls and emails without delay and delivered on all commitments. Todd was also kind enough to send me electronic copies in various formats of my daughters senior pictures (with no notice) so we wouldn't miss the deadline. What types of customers have you worked with?
I most commonly find myself shooting just about everything visible to shoot. Not to be a busy body photographer, but my vast understanding of light and willingness to rise to challenging shooting scenarios have placed me in front of the good, the bad and the ugly. No, not ugly people, but I find myself aiming the camera at some pretty bazar locations and scenery. But most commonly, you'll find me on location shooting creative wedding portraits, commercial properties, products and virtual 360º photography for website clients. I try to shoot conceptual imagery as much as possible.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice for hiring a photographer is to educate yourself fully on what your desired outcomes should be. The best way to do this is to go site shopping. This is different from looking around for the best pricing (although you can do that too), site shopping is identifying the type of imagery that you feel would capture your vision. I'd suggest you google websites in cities where top professionals work (L.A., NYC etc.) This way you can expose and familiarize yourself to the best of the best. Once you have a bar to jump in mind, go to your local search of providers that could potentially shoot your work, wedding, portrait etc... This will help you weed out the mediocre faster and get to the quality you deserve. If the price is right of course. Also remember, "You get what you pay for". Keep that one... I'll bill you later :)
