Reviews

Invision Design Partners is an efficient, reliable, client centric service. They did a project for me earlier this month, and were very thorough in understanding my needs, and designing to my specifications. They were very responsive to changes in direction, and made every effort to make sure I understood my options.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Look for top professional credentials (both academic and in practice), high ethical standard and client testimonials. Additionally, ask how the provider plan to address YOUR specific needs.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Successful interiors start with good design - integrating form, function, aesthetics and emotional appeal. A well designed space is comprised of many elements, among them focal point, energy flow, color composition and proper lighting (both natural and artificial) to name a few. We begin with a thorough understanding of your needs and desires, and provide a wealth of innovative options unique to your project.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What professional / academic credentials do you have?
Where can I review your portfolio of interior design work?
Do you work with a contract?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Identify their need or problem (as accurately as possible).
Identify and authorize (if necessary) key contact persons for the project.
Inform themselves about how we work and what we can do for them (i.e. our Statement of Work / Contract)
Verify our credibility and experience.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We aim to always provide superb user experience and attention to details in all aspects of our design work. Our rich online portfolio is a testimony to our vast experience in multiple design disciplines and in promoting good design for the benefit of our clients.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Working with customers to first understand their real needs and desires, then creating for them innovative design options unique to their project.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Design is aimed at improving people's lives. Good interior design makes efficient, practical, safe and aesthetically pleasing environment to live or work in. Well designed furniture is beautiful, but also ergonomically correct for the human body, possibly eliminating medical problems. Good design is not a simple matter or magic, it requires skills and experience to achieve. It is therefore a wise investment.

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. I am embarrassed to use design professionals for the possibility I'll be judged for my personal aesthetic taste. What should I do?

We aim for interiors you love to live in and spaces that reflect your distinctive taste, not ours! Understanding your aesthetic taste with regard to objects, furniture and space is a necessary and critical part of our design process. We aim to enhance the living or working environments of all our clients, and we take pride in our ability to create solutions that are tailored to your liking and budget. Furthermore, our design solutions focus not only on functional enhancement of your space, but on its aesthetic and emotional appeal as well; together, these attention areas add real value to you and your lifestyle, and result in a place you love to live in.

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. What is the difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator?

A professional interior designer is qualified by their own artistic abilities, education, experience, and examination to enhance the function and quality of interior spaces. In general, the goals of such activity include improving quality of life, increasing productivity in the work place, and protecting the health, safety and welfare of the public.

Qualifications to address these goals or tasks are granted only from an accredited four-year school of higher learning and include a wide range of technical skills aimed at providing a full range of Interior Design services. Formal education include manual and CAD drafting, space planning, formulation of appropriate, functional, and aesthetic design concepts, knowledge of furniture history, furniture design, lighting calculations, ergonomics and business practices to name a few. A. What is Interior Staging?

Interior Staging is the art of preparing a home for sale by maximizing its appeal to the broadest range of potential buyers and creating immediate interest for purchase.

As most people naturally strive to personalize their homes with meaningful decorations, artifacts and specific aesthetic tastes or styles, Interior Staging on the other hand, aims at creating an impersonalized space that would make it possible for others to imagine themselves living there and making it their own. Some of the actions necessary for achieving this goal include the use of neutral colors and de-cluttering living spaces. When possible, the ownerís own furniture and accessories are rearranged for greater advantage and impact. On occasion, however, these types of items are brought in on a temporary basis to maximize the marketability of the home.

A home seller would greatly benefit from accepting that they must ìlet goî of their own personal taste in interior decoration in return for the creation of a neutral, warm and welcoming interior style that appeals to others, a practice that could bring a higher profit and the possibility for a speedy sale of the property. Professional staging is undoubtedly the best strategy for achieving this goal.
