Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I am a graduate of the SF SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers and had a contract with the City of SF to train the dogs and volunteers in the City Shelter. I have worked for 10 years with difficult dogs in NYC and have great compassion for them and their human guardians. I love helping people and dogs using purely positive training methods. I am both qualified to and genuinely enjoy helping people and dogs.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love working with motivated clients to improve their relationship with and lives of their difficult dogs. I never get sick of seeing how smart dogs and their people really are. My clients impress me.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Clients usually ask me how long will it take to "fix" their dogs' behavior problems. In most cases I tell them that if they are able to put in the time and work they can improve the behavior gradually over months. Some problem behaviors can be fixed quickly. Many take a lifetime of maintenance.
