A. Make sure that you use a local surveyor that has knowledge of the particular zoning regulations in the nine different jurisdictions in our geographical area of practice. This will have a direct effect on your ablility to use the survey map as required support documentation for an up to date Certificate of Occupancy.
A. Conducting a survey of a parcel of real property involves not only the subject property but each and any adjoining lot that borders or touches it. Research for current deeds of record for subject and all adjoiners at both the county and local municipality level is required.
