Complete rebranding, design, editing, and promotion for the online community and rich information resource: roelresources.com
Hired by two area (NY Metro) ad agencies when they were "stuck" with certain large clients, and needed a totally new approach, better copy & concept, and stronger cross-platform message extension into other media.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Speak to them directly, ideally in a face-to-face meeting.
You'll not only be able to determine if there is real accord and some chemistry, you'll also have a much better sense of the person you're looking to for support and asking to join your team.
I still believe in face-time, and developing a meaningful rapport.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. That there are quite a few people who are talented and tech-savvy, but not all that many who are also business-minded and sales-oriented. You might determine if the person you're about to hire not only has unique talents, but a real track record -- as in a string of successes in sales and business development.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. A client or consumer might ask: Once I explain my objectives, let me know that you clearly understand them.
Also, please let me know about your track record, and what you've accomplished. Which businesses did you play a meaningful part in re-branding, expanding and bringing to the next level?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Most creatives -- artists, writers, web designers, etc. -- think like creatives. Having run 4 companies, I think first like a businessperson, and let growth objectives and sales take the lead, with the concept(s), message and media to follow...
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Most? The creative collaboration... successfully re-branding a company or division and then watching their business transform.... and engaging with bright, successful business owners and helping them reach their latest objectives faster.
