Hired John to lead a crew of other skilled carpenters and laborers to build a substantial residential building and was impressed with his overall management skills to see the project through. Skilled, knowledgeable and professional!

Jon was wonderful to work with and always kept us abreast of what was going on at the job site, inquiring about decisions we had to make and giving us enough time to make those decisions and his work was impeccable. We were living three hours away from our new-build home which made it difficult at times even though we traveled once a week to keep up with the progress but Jon kept in touch at all times via text, email and phone calls. I would highly recommend him for your new home project. He made building our house fun!!

Out of the 5 RFQ's that I got back from Thumbtack, Jon was way out front with a quick response, good rough estimate, and a very good idea of what I had in mind for my carport before we ever sat down and talked. ( I was looking at building a double wide, no center column, 20'x24' carport) I asked him to come down and I was impressed with his professionalism, integrity and knowledge of the trade. He worked with me on costs and ideas and offered suggestions that I hadn't thought of. What I also liked was the lack of pressure to sign on the dotted line. Jon worked up a final quote that I thought was on the money and I went with it and I couldn't be happier with the results. We went with steel beam construction with the beam supports built right into the side of the house (Very slick) The quality of his work and his work ethic is outstanding. I have had people stop on their way by the house and ask if they might look closer at the carport both during and after completion of the construction. You would be hard pressed to find a better contractor for your project. Larry Hillner, Manchester, NH

I contacted Jon regarding the installation of vinyl siding on my mother's home in Northfield, NH. He responded timely, gave a reasonable bid and appeared to be a very honest, conscientious business person. We had decided to use Jon for the project until receiving his response to the following email: Jon, We had a new development today regarding potential buyers of the property. We have given them the option of having the vinyl siding installed or taking a seller's credit towards an expenditure of their choosing. This decision will not be made until after next weekend; therefore, we will have to post-pone a project decision. I will be in touch. Sincerely, Dennis Clairmont This was John's response: Really, On a Sunday morning? You mentioned nothing about being under contract with a buyer. My final email response to Jon was the following: Jon, We are not under contract with another buyer. I said we have a potential buyer who is deciding between our property and another property to buy. They are visiting the other property a second time next Saturday and hope to write an offer for one of the properties then. Hopefully, they decide to buy our property! Yes, my realtor works on Sunday as the potential buyers looked at the property yesterday and he called me this morning to update me on the buyer's realtor's feedback. My realtor is well aware of my time table as I live in Oregon, returning Tuesday, and he doesn't mind calling me on a Sunday morning. I also met with the City of Northfield building inspector this morning 8am at the town hall, a Sunday morning! I am responding to your questions with hopes that you realize the unconscionable mistake you have made in your sarcastic response as a business person. A good business person would not shoot them self in the foot as you have done! Good luck with future endeavors as you have lost us as a client. Sincerely, Dennis Clairmont
