A. I get asked this question all the time. What do you do when you cannot resolve a problem?
My answer is simple, there is always a solution to any computer problem!
A. Kind of a gross story, but ill tell it anyway. Our staff, including myself, did a job at a well known Staten Island establishment (id rather not say as I do not want to embarrass anyone), anyway, we were doing a simple networking job for about 10-15 computers. Well, as we were working in the server room, we heard a dripping sound. It increased, and we looked up, and the ceiling was starting to open up. in about 15 seconds, water poured into the server room. Here is the gross part, it was from a broken sewage pipe. Yup, sewage water flowed into the room. We had to act quick to rescue the servers, otherwise they would have been in deep doo doo (yes, pun intended). It was a historic building and the pipes were overdue for replacement. Thankfully, we were able to rescue the servers and all data. But, i will never forget the smell from that day!
