- How did you get started doing this type of work?
For a number of years I worked as a Real Estate Agent. Almost every day there would be someone coming into the office looking for a Notary. So one day i just said let m do something about this... took the test and the rest is history.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Being called to hospitals or nursing homes to notarize Powers of Attorney is by far and large the most common demand for my services. 2nd to that are Loan Closings from banks & Title Companies
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Clients should have proper and valid government issued photo ID. They will need to provide any legal documents and be familiar with them,. Notaries are not permitted to provide forms or instruct on completing them... it's the law.
