On June 24, 2011, the New York State Legislature passed the Marriage Equality Act which was signed into law by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo the same day. This new law will take effect on July 24, 2011. This law now allows same sex marriages to be performed as of that day. I am pleased for the law to have past and will be available to officiate as needed. The same procedure are still in effect visit http://www.cityclerk.nyc.gov/html/marriage/license.shtml for more info. – Jul 01, 2011 at 8:54 am

I offer:
* travel in the NYC area
* reasonable fees (travel fees are dependent on location)

Rev. Sandra Lee Schubert was ordained as an Interfaith minister in New York City, June, 1994. She has been the leader of the healing minister at the great Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine.
A. I offer services special designed for each person. I listen to the person, family or couple to discover exactly what they want or need. So much of this work is listening and then create a ceremony that supports them in the best way possible.
I do specialize in older couple who are marry for the second time. They are simple, elegant and lovingly produced.
A. The opportunity to share a very special time with people. It is so very special to watch the love that exists between a couple who marry for the first or second time. Or to bless a baby and welcome them into a family.
A. Do you travel? I will travel if I can get there easily by public transportation or it is provide for me. (I don't drive)
Is it a religious service? The service is not part of an established church but the elements of religious service can be present. Or, it can be a simple civil ceremony with special readings by friends and families.
