- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can either charge by giving an estimate for the total job or by charging an hourly rate which is $25 an hour.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a school teaching background. I still do quite a bit of substitute teaching in the area and have dealt with many types of people. I have been painting for at least 25 years- mainly summers at a local school district and during the year sporadically.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started painting a little helping out my father with his summer painting work and then I would paint once in awhile here and there. Then, in 1988, I took on summer work at Marcellus Schools painting classrooms, etc. for the whole school district. This led to some freelance work with mainly friends and people they would refer to me.
