Introduction: Your wedding should be a reflection of you and your unique love story. I provide fully customized wedding ceremonies and will work with you to be sure every word is perfect. I’m available for consultations on Zoom, FaceTime, or in person where we can get to know more about each other, I can walk you through the process and then you can decide if you feel you’d like to move forward. I love getting to know each couple personally and I can promise you that the ceremony and words spoken will all be a true reflection of who you are as a couple, in celebration of your love. Rachel was amazing! From the moment I contacted her she was warm, friendly and professional. She gave us a choice of many ideas for our ceremony, which was a second wedding for both of us. We absolutely could not have been happier with Rachel and Custom Weddings. My wife and I had a decent idea what to expect when choosing a caterer, florist, etc., but we knew less than nothing about creating our wedding ceremony. Rachel sat down with us and walked us through the process of designing a ceremony that was absolutely perfect for us. She presented us with so many options for all of the different sections of the ceremony that we felt as though the script had been created just for us. Not only that, but Rachel's delivery was flawless; she was professional and well-spoken but also included just enough humor to calm our nerves. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know one another is the most important first step! Let’s talk about you and your partner’s love story, and how we can infuse your ceremony with personal details. I’ll ask you a million questions to help me understand your wants and dreams, and I’ll walk you though the ceremony step by step. You will have the opportunity to read, review, and edit every word of the script before your big day to ensure your ceremony is perfect.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I apprenticed with an established minister for many months before I began offering my own services. I also have a background in book publishing with over 30 years of experience, which has given me a great facility with words and storytelling.
