Mike D'Andrea and Diamond Cut Productions DJ'd my wedding at the Westbury Manor. They were great to work with leading up to the wedding and made me feel like I could trust them to do their job on the special day. They were on time, professional and the nicest people I ever met. They followed all my recommendations and made great choices of songs to fill the rest of the party. My guests never felt pressured to dance but chose to do so because of how energetic and friendly the MC was. There was a great mix of music where everyone had something to dance to. I highly recommend Mike D and Diamond Cut Productions to anyone looking for a professional and exciting DJ for their event.

Mike is amazing. He was the DJ at my wedding, as well as my cousins. Mike did everything we asked... Played exactly what we wanted and had all 200 people on their feet the whole night. A guest at our wedding who didn't know anyone else there said he had more fun at our wedding than any other and that was, no doubt, because of the atmosphere Mike created. He was also the DJ for my other cousins 40th birthday and was amazing with the young kids. They were all dancing and playing games the entire time which made the parents very happy. I recommend Mike all the time and even had him DJ a prom for my students. Again, loved him. If you are looking to work with someone who listens to you and gives you the exact event you want, look no further.

Mike D and Diamond Cut Productions were the entertainment for my wedding in March 2007. And when i say entertainment, i MEAN entertainment. !! Ive been to many weddings, and ive been to many weddings where the DJ's were just that, DJ's and nothing more 1 or 2 guys who hid behind their booth and didnt care enough to get involved. They do the bare minimum in order to get paid. But Diamond Cut went above and beyond to get our party going and keep it going. Mike D was responsible for the ceremony music as well, which if you think about it, can be quite scary. God forbid something other than what you chose gets played as the bride is walking down the aisle! ( its mortifying, ive seen it happen. Somehow Rob Bass doesnt quite say "here comes the bride" like a nice orchestral version of kenny G or frank sinatra :/ ) But Mike D was 100% on point. With not only the correct music but volume control, Verse choice and timing as each member of the bridal party made thir way down the aisle, it was perfect!! The reception was OFF THE HOOK!!! I have NEVER seen an entire guest list on the dance floor, not only for 1 or 2 songs, but for the entire time the music was playing. I actually had people telling me their food was getting cold because they just wanted to keep dancing. Lol. Every song i asked to be played was, and every song i request NOT be played, wasnt. The lighting was perfect, the Percussionist included everyone to participate in banging on the drums, and Mike was absolutely phenominal getting everyone to take part in the wedding. He didnt just stand behind the booth hitting "play". He was involved, attentive and a major part of our day! I would not have had the amazing event i did without him. It felt like we knew him for all our lives, thats how close he was with us. IMO the food and the music are the 2 key ingredients in a succesful event, and Mike D and Diamond Cut NAILED IT!!!! i am so grateful for his knowledge in his industry, because choosing an entertainment co can be very stressful and if not researched it can make or break your day!!! I have referred numerous people to him and every single person has come back to me thanking me. I am not the one who needs thanking, its Mike. If you EVER get a chance to have them at your event, it will be something you will never regret!! And something tou will always remember!!! In fact i always day i want to have another wedding, not for the dress, not for the gifts, nor for the food... but because i just want to dance my butt off all night!! Lol I really could go on forever, but point is diamond cut was exactly what i asked for, exactly what we needed, and i will never go to another company for any future events. Michael D'Andrea of Diamond Cut Productions has DJ'd numerous family affairs ranging from 50th Anniversary parties to weddings. In addition Mike generously donates his time every year to a non-profit organization I have started. Mike always goes above and beyond to make every event memorable. As an example, last year we held our event outdoors in December. Mother nature was not so kind to us and we weren't prepared for the snowfall that she bestowed upon us! We set Mike up under a NON HEATED tent. He arrived early as usually and without hesitation asked were we wanted him to set up! Never once did he complain about the conditions he was working in. No sooner was he all set up, the tent that was covering him came down on his equipment! Yikes...He handled the entire situation with such a professional manner, which was totally above and beyond what he needed to do. Mike always keeps the crowd going at every event. It's the one thing that we never have to worry about when we book him for an occasion. He even has the new photo booths that you could get your pictures via text message and you can even put them on social media too; how cool is that?! Mike always does such a great job for us, I couldn't imagine not using Diamond Cut Productions for any future events!

I've know Michael for a few years now, he's been the resident DJ at my husbands establishment so when it came time for our wedding we knew exactly who we were going to use! When the big day came it was our first time using Diamond Cut Productions in it's entirety. As my fellow Brides and Grooms will agree, the music sets the tone for the party. What we experienced with their company was beyond our expectations. They were absolutely incredible. From the moment our ceremony started, to our cocktail hour, to the reception, and the photobooth (which gave us the best memories of the night) they went above and beyond for our event. Every guest in attendance were on their feet the whole night, and if they weren't dancing they were partying in the photo booth! The process leading up to the big day couldn't have been more pleasant. Every step of the way they were with us, making sure we were getting everything we ever wanted. I have a special place in my heart for Diamond Cut and for giving me the most magical night of my life. It wouldn't have been the same without them and I will be forever grateful for all of their hard work and dedication that was put in. It's not just a job for them, and they have now become our go-to company for all of our future endeavors!! 5 stars won't do them justice, we love you guys!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I teach DJ School, I am very current on music, We also DJ many bars and clubs in the area, so if there is something new, we have it, and if we don't have it, we can obtain it.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a DJ since 1991, I learned from some of the best in the industry, hip-hop DJ's, however I took my love for music overall and created a great mix and style to fit everyone. My family brought me up on everything from oldies of the 40's - 80's, and my love for 90's - today was all my own! I was the official DJ of the Hispanic Day Parade for 10 years on Long Island, however I am not Hispanic, that says a lot about my and my crews ability to handle all genres. Our vast library of music can cover ANYTHING.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We are a big Wedding, Sweet 16 & Corporate events company! We do a lot of school functions as well. Our Photo Booths are hired by mostly Brides and Sweet 16's.
