Hiring Jerel of JL Appliance Repair to fix my oven was 100% the right choice and I recommend him for all-things appliance-related. This is how on-point and stand-up Jerel is… He called me back within 2 minutes of making my inquiry online. I explained the problem, and while most technicians would withhold giving the potential customer information that they could otherwise use to (attempt to) fix the problem themselves, Jerel confirmed not only the specific issue with my oven, but the specific part I needed as well, all in under 5 minutes of discussing it on the phone. Not only that, Jerel offered multiple options (part selection) and transparent feedback with years of experience to back it up, which made the decision easy. I should also mention that I called a co-worker who was having trouble with her washing machine while Jerel was still there. He discussed the problem and after a series of questions, was able to provide my co-worker the info necessary for her to resolve the issue - all for free on the phone (he was looking to help and was not trying to hold information hostage to gain another service call).

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a diagnostic fee that will include a detailed overview of your appliance and any other questions you might have as long as I am in your home. It will be applied toward the repair if you decide to move forward with the repair. Don’t let a cheap diagnostic fee land you with an inexperienced technician!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a detailed phone conversation about symptoms of your appliance need. I will describe what I believe it can be, what can be done, and a rough estimate of a cost.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am EPA certified
