Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Employ a reputable mover that's registered with the state, has full insurance, Workman's compensation and full time employees.

Piano movers have special knowledge and equipment required to safely move the piano.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The more packing you can do yourself, the more money you can save. Have everything organized prior to your move day and never understate the amount of items you have.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Movers in Ohio are regulated by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. They are required to operate safe vehicles and provide cargo insurance. Whether a mover is registered with the state is available on the PUCO website. You should ask if their employees are drug screened and whether they're temp service employees or company employees. You should always request current Workman's Comp and insurance documentation.
