Be Whimsy Photography

Introduction: I offer creative, unique, fun photography for you and your family! My services range from events to newborns and family to graduation to engagement; you name it! I am happy to come to the hospital to do newborn photos (they charge an arm and a leg for boring basic photos at the hospitals). I'm pretty much up for anything! I'll get muddy, climb trees, freeze in the snow, and do whatever it takes to get that perfect shot. I'm an artist of other mediums as well, so building specific props or creating a certain scene is something I take great pride in being able to do. I want you to be part of the process as well. So, if you have ideas or have seen something in a magazine that you would like a similar shot of, don't be shy! The most frequent comments that I hear about my work are always centered around creativity, feeling comfortable, and back to creativity. I try to make art — something that will hang on your wall to match your room, instead of simply taking a photograph. Needless to say (spoiler alert), Shar did that, and more. We had looked at some local photographers trying to find the right balance between price and quality. We decided to go with Shar and anxiously awaited our shoot. Now understand, I have three daughters, and we also had their two-year old nephew who was in town who was a part of it as well. This was no easy shoot. The day of the shoot came and we got all the kids prepped and out to the spot that Shar had picked out (which was a very nice and versatile spot). The session went very well, despite the 90-degree heat, and our pics were emailed to us within days. Don't misunderstand, trying to get all 4 children, under the age of twelve, wasn't without a flaw. However, Shar was able to create some amazing shots, despite everything that was working against her. We are going through the photos and trying to narrow down which ones to order and when to call Shar again to arrange for another shoot. Great job, Shar!"
