Question and answer

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. For large events, especially weddings, and even for individual sessions, one question no one ever thinks to ask is, "are you insured?" Not only are our employees and equipment insured, but our clients and theirs guests are too. For those "what if" situations, we are covered!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Customers can see our work and our products and they speak for themselves. Ask our current clients what they enjoy about our studio and they will tell you that we are about the whole experience. From the minute you walk in until we deliver your order, our concentration is focused on you and making you feel comfortable and welcomed in our studio.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Every day is a new client. Every day is a new project. Every day we produce something new. To be stale is not an option.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. When covering sports action we use large lenses that a lot of people are not familiar with and intimidated by. My favorite question to be asked while carrying a long lens on my camera is "Wow, that is a big lens. Can you see the moon with that?" To which my answer is "I can see the moon without that, can't you?"

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. We are constantly attending webinars and seminars to keep our ideas and techniques fresh and with the trend.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Don't sell yourself short. There are times to work for experience. There are times where you donate your services. There should never be a time where you work for free. If you do not put a value on your services and products no one will see a value in your products or services.
