A. Boonie is comfortable with entertaining any group from kid's birthday parties through corporate events
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. 1. Annual community Christmas Children's Tea Party, held at the Highland House Historical Museum.(person to person close-up followed by stage show.)
2. Entertaining customers (around the campfire)at The Haunted Hills, as they wait their turn on the haunted trail. Some say they come as much to see Boonie as the actual Haunted Hills!
3.Entertaining at the Swiss Cheese Festival in Switzerland. (Person -to person) around the festival which was in a wooded area half-way up Mount Pilatus.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Customer needs to know the past experience and integrity of performer, as well as his or her ability. Boonie has 64 years of experience in magic. He is respected as a person of honor as well as one of the most honorable entertainers available.Whether you are looking for a magician for a birthday party for your 8 year old or for a seasoned performer for your corporate event, Boonie, the Magician will really entertain your folks!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Even other magicians wonder at Boonie, the Magician's "Cut and Restore Rope". People seeing him for more than one time insist that that be a part of the evening/show.
(No sharing the secret of this one!!!) They would not really want to know , though, as the mystery of it is the fun part!
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Customer should know reputation of performer. He/she should ask for referrals.
The customer should ask how long the performance will be.
He/she should also ask what needs he performer has/
Finally, the customer should ask about the fee and
about when it is to be paid/
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Customer should consider:Will this performer meet the needs of my occasion?
Can I afford this performer?
Have other customers been satisfied with performer?
Will this performer enhance our reputation?
Or is there a chance that he/she will use off-color material that would be detrimental to our goals?
Boonie the Magician will meet all of these positive considerations, and will never ever use any off-color material.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Boonie, the Magician tailors his performances to the
needs of the customer. He researches the company and become familiar with their product/goals.
If a small birthday party,etc, he again, finds out the goals of the customer and attempts to fill them to the best of his ability.
Mostly, tho, he makes customer look good!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Boonie, the Magician is a people person, and he thoroughly enjoys helping folks . His special talent not only entertains but also often motivates folks! He simply loves doing magic to entertain!

A. 1.Folks often ask, "What got you interested in magic"Boonie's answer is entertaining in itself!
2. They ask, "How long have you been doing this?"
Boonie's answer- "64 years!"
They ask," Where have you performed?"
Boonie's answer."Nearly all over the world!"
3.They then say,"Then why are you here in Highland County?
Boonie's answer, "Because I love it here as much as anywhere in the world!"
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. A favorite story? In 64 years, too many to pick out one, but Boonie does remember filling the house of 400 and then packing 100 more into the auditorium of one early show.A huge success!
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. Boonie always says that he uses magic to entertain. Seeming miracles are simply tricks. Only God does real miracles.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. When Boonie left his home town and went to the big city, he left his magic behind, thinking it was part of his "Childish Ways" to be left behind. However a charity event called to him, and he did a show which was very successful and profitable for the organization. Soon customers were lining up to hire him for their special event, and the rest is history
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. The job for the annual Highland House Childen's Christmas Tea Party was hailed as" The best entertainment we have ever had" They keep telling him, "People are still talking about it!", and he has been requested to do it again for next year already.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Visits to the Magi-Fest and theChristian Magic Convention, etc. help keep Boonie aware of latest in the field. Also his son, and granddaughter, also magicians, keep him on his toes
