Most housecleaners use feather dusters, which are great for doing one simple thing—stirring up dust and allergens and putting them into the air you breathe. And if they are using a regular vacuum cleaner, not only do most of the tiny allergens pass right through the bag, but the exhaust blows still more of them up out of the carpet and into the air…again air you are breathing.

But our specially designed backpack vacuum features a four-filtered, micro-filtration system, which captures particles down to 1/210th the diameter of a human hair or in other words, 99% of all particulates down to 0.3 microns.Or in layman’s terms, our system vacuums 52 percent more dirt and contaminants than other vacuums AND captures those allergens and takes them out of your home. Nobody gets your home cleaner.


Each member of our highly-trained, uniformed,bonded and insured four-person cleaning team specializes in cleaning a specific area of your home, ensuring that our Healthy Touch Deep Cleaning system is followed in every detail, every visit.
Our Unique 22-Step Healthy Touch® Deep Cleaning System includes 22 quality-cleaning tasks, designed to remove more dirt and contaminants than any other cleaning system. Our unique time and motion cleaning techniques enable our teams to work with maximum efficiency.

How long has The Maids been in business?
The Maids have been serving Cleveland’s suburbs since 1999, during which time we have completed over 100,000 cleans. We are independently owned and operated.

Does The Maids use employees or do they use contractors?
Every member of our cleaning staff is an employee who has been thoroughly trained using classroom, on-line, and on the job instruction under our qualified supervisory personnel. Our employees are insured and bonded, and we are protected with state worker’s compensation insurance and unemployment insurance. The Maids pays all wages, insurance, and payroll taxes.

Do I have to be home when the cleaning team arrives?
No, in fact, many of our customers are not home when we clean. However, in order for us to clean your home, our team needs ready access to it. Most of our customers provide us with a key. Our customers’ keys are coded for confidentiality and stored in a locked security box when not in use. You may also choose to conceal a key or to leave your home unlocked. If we are unable to gain ready access to your home, our lockout fee is $50.00.

When can I expect the team to arrive at our home?
Because of our quality commitment to our customers and due to the unpredictable nature of traffic, it is almost impossible to guarantee an exact arrival time. From a practical perspective, we can provide you with a 2 hour arrival window. However, if a precise arrival time at your home is critical, please call the office, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What happens if my cleaning day falls on a holiday?
We will call you well in advance to reschedule your clean as close to your normal day as possible. Because the holidays are typically a very busy time for us we will make every attempt to honor specific requests but appreciate as much notice as possible if you do have a certain day in mind.

How do we pay for the cleaning service?
You may pay by check, cash, Visa, or MasterCard. If you pay by check or cash, please place the payment in plain view on the kitchen table or counter before the team arrives. If you choose to pay by credit card we will charge your card on file the day after the clean.

What happens if I have to skip a clean?
As a regular customer, we reserve a place on our schedule for you on your cleaning day. If you must skip or reschedule a clean, please kindly provide our office with 48 hour notice so that we can schedule another customer. Our late cancellation fee is $30.00.
