I do all types of finishing work, including painting, staining and drywall. I specialize in refinishing and/or restoring anything made of wood, from floors to cabinets, trim molding to furniture and even antiques. I have been doing this work for over 20 years, and can guarantee you one thing at least: No one cares about the quality of their work more than I do!
I may not be the cheapest around, although my prices are reasonable, but I personally stand behind all of my work, and you'll have that in writing before I start.

Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Be thorough, and ask as many questions as you can think of. A true professional should have an answer to any question you can come up with concerning the project at hand.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I care very much about the quality of the work I produce. This job is not just a paycheck for me, it is part of who I am. The fact that I love what I do hopefully will show in the finished product. I let my customers be the judge of that.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love the detail involved in doing high end work. It makes it very easy to care about what I do. I can focus on one thing at a time and throw myself into doing it to the best of my abilities.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I went to college for several years to pursue a degree in teaching, which I do love doing and thought was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. The part I wasn't prepared for was that I love to work with my hands and I soon realized that I had already found the job that I loved. (I started painting when I was 14.)
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I am always trying to learn more about what I do. I love to talk 'shop' with others in my line of work and compare ideas. I attend trade shows as well whenever I have the time. Be wary though, just because someone has a new method of doing things, that doesn't mean it's going to be better that the good old fashioned way!
