- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, as a CPA, we are required to have 120 hours of continuing professional education credit every 3 years. In addition, I also stay current with matters concerning my clients' businesses.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had always love accounting ever since I was a child. My mother had a seafood business. I started keeping books for her when I was in my third grade! Then, as a young man just graduated from high school, I helped my sister and my brother-in-law preparing financial statements and loan applications to obtain financing to start their restaurant. I had enjoyed so much of these experiences that, as soon as I started college, I decided to major in accounting.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Compiling financial statements for their businesses, preparing their business & individual income tax return, sales/use taxes, property taxes,, providing complete payroll services and analysis of their financial condition & operations.
