I started out in computers as a Freshman in HS and graduated from the University of Cincinnati in Computer Science and worked at many major local companies for over 30 years, such as P&G, GE Aircraft, and Cincinnati Bell.

    My grandson had a paper for school he thought he saved to his thumb drive but he removed the drive quickly and lost the document. We asked Tom to see if he could recover the document

    Tom responded first and was available to do the job on a Sunday. He gave the job 110%. Tried different approaches. He recovered the document however it was corrupted.

    I have worked with many IT professionals I found Tom to be very knowledgeable and was excellent working with us. I will request his services in the future.

    Working with Tom to solve my computer problems was a great experience. This gentleman has tremendous knowledge pertaining to computer systems and a wealth of experience behind him. My computer was plagued with at least 14 virus type threats and the CPU utilization was off the chart. Tom took remote control of my PC and went to work on it immediately upon my contacting him. The things he was able to do and repair were phenomenal. He did not quit working on the PC until it was running perfectly. He actually worked on it from approximately 8:30 PM till 1:30 AM and never took a break. He is a true gentleman and he communicated with me all during the process to let me know exactly what he was doing and why. If you ever encounter a problem with your PC I highly recommend consulting with Tom. I know that I will.

    Tom responded quickly and got right to work on ridding our computer of several viruses. He worked for over six hours on a Saturday afternoon and evening until all issues were fixed. It's been a week and we haven't had any problems since then. If we need computer help again, we will contact Tom.

    I run a small business from home. My computer crashed and fried my hard drive. Within a week,Tom retrieved nearly all my files, then set up my computer so this would not ever happen again.Tom is now my Go-To Guy for any and all computer issues, questions or repairs.     Tom was awesome! There were several issues with my computer and he did not stop until all of them were solved. Everything was done remotely here in my home, so I did not have to take my computer to a business to be repaired. I'm impressed with the knowledge and expertise Tom has, and would gladly recommend his services to anyone. My computer is now working great, and I'm so happy I didn't waste the time or money by taking it elsewhere.

    Tom is a Subject Matter Expert in the Computer Consulting Service. He is willing to take extra steps to make sure the results are to each customer's satisfaction and expectations. My experience of finding a trojan virus on my home desktop had me sending a message to Tom through LinkedIn!

    I highly recommend Remote PC Fixers to do the job! The 'other guys' tried and their last comment was that I would have to wipe the disc clean and reformat, but thanks to Tom Shedd and Remote PC Fixers, http://www.remotepcfixers.com/, that didn't happen! In less than 2 hours Tom had it completely clean and recovered, with no need to reformat, and no loss of data!

    They rocked my world and I will not hesitate to contact them if the need occurs again!!!

    After suffering thru a laptop with many issues, I called Tom and he jumped right on it. He did an outstanding job. Got rid of viruses plus optimized it to run better. He took my 5 year old laptop and made it run 5x better!!!!!!

    Thomas jumped right in and delivered a high quality repair service. I had previously been thinking of replacing my laptop although it is only 3 years old due to its operating problems.

    Tom-Just wanted to say thank you SOOOOOO Much for the incredible help you gave us after our office break in when all our computers, printers, and scanners were stolen.

    Talk about Disaster/Recovery!!!!!† You helped us locate and purchase computers, scanners, and printers.† Then during recovery, you discovered that our back up hard drives were damaged and the data was nearly unrecoverable.† But you did it with your MAGIC!!!!!!!!

    Then all of our files and programs had to be converted from Windows XP TO Windows 7.† You were wonderful in recovering all our emails and calendars and retrieving, restoring, and upgrading all of our quickbook files.

    You dedicated countless hours and worked into the wee hours to make sure that our data was recovered, our systems were upgraded, our files secured, you backed up our entire new system both locally and to a secured off site location.

    Finally, you got our network up and running, got all our systems to talk to each other, our printers printing and our scanners scanning.

    Through this whole ordeal you did it professionally and with a smile.† Most importantly, you kept us calm in the midst of our biggest crisis and proved to us that the impossible is POSSIBLE!!!!

    A perfect motto for your services should be:

    Tom has been my "computer doctor" for years. He keeps my computer running smooth and fast. He does this by regular maintenance, back-ups, updates, virus checks. On the rare occasion I have a problem,Tom has always been able to fix it. Tom is a nice guy and can explain computer lingo that everyone can understand.

    Extremely satisfied. My laptop was running etremely slow and just having all kind of problems. I had been advised to have it "cleaned up." I kept putting it off because I didn't want to take it to Staples where I had previousy gone because of not having my laptop for several days. I had just read about Remotepcfixers.com in our local community magazine and decided to call and find out about it. Well it took over four hours to get my laptop cleaned up and running great. Best investment for your money. I recommend Tom Shedd very highly.

    I would not hesitate to recommend Tom Shedd at Remote PC Fixers. I have known him a long time and can vouch for his knowledge and professionalism. He has an extensive background in computers in different capacities, not someone who took a class or two & calls himself an IT expert. Tom will give 100% to any job that he does for a customer and will not give up until the problem is resolved.     Remote PC Fixers has made my sister a very happy woman! She had 3 printers that would not work. She was constantly at my house printing things. Having used PC Fixers before, I hooked her up with Tom, the Fixer. He found the problem hidden deep in her computer and she is printing again. Next she had him clean up her computer, and she reports that it runs faster than when she bought it. Thanks from my sister and I! (I do not have to hear the whining anymore!)
