Bob Marcus is a superb trainer. I have seen the results he has gotten with dogs he's worked with and I am very impressed.

Bob Marcus trained my Boston Terrier and did an excellent job! He taught him obedience, manners and numerous tricks. When he first started working with my Boston Terrier, the dog had a major problem with aggression toward other dogs after he had been attacked at a dog park. Well those days are over! My Bostie is now a model of good behavior and gets along with other dogs very well. Not only that, but he knows a zillion tricks now-- he can do paddy cake, weave poles, jump through hoops, he will lie down and stay for as long as you want! Bob is patient, easy going and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him highly.

Was 45 minutes late on the first session after which he proposed a regular schedule for training. On the first session of the schedule that HE proposed, he called and said he couldn't make it because he was "at a convention". How in the world could you schedule a session if you knew you had a convention on the same day?!?!? After stewing for a while as to whether we wanted to continue using his services we called him back to say we could resume the Sunday sessions, which he then said Sundays will not work for him now. He said he could do Tuesday evenings or Thursday evenings, so it appears he only wants to work in the evenings during the week (the most inconvenient for most working adults), this will not work for us. He didn't seem to like Saturdays either. Bottom line: I "think" (one session) he is a good dog trainer, but beware he was unwilling to work around the customer's schedule.
