- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My current rates are as follows; $20.00 fuel charge fee and $70.00 per hour M-F. Saturday my hourly rate is $85.00 per hour. Closed on Sundays.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I first get your message on Thumbtack I always confirm my understanding of the work you want done, I then will transition into my rates and give an estimate of how much time it would take. If you have pictures of what needs to be done this helps so much. I can usually give better time estimates when I can see the future project.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Working with my dad through college. He flips homes and does almost all of the work himself. I was on the track team and had limited hours for regular 9-5 jobs so this was a way to work but still have freedom to train and make some money. I worked with him starting in 2010.
