Justin is nothing short of amazing. The songs I recorded were a project that I have always wanted, and mostly vulgar, but nonetheless, he treated the project with respect and took it seriously. He is extremely patient and provides a comfortable environment for recording and production. Always punctual, and his equipment is of the highest quality I have seen yet. I highly recommend Justin for any project you have, and I will be going back to him for my second EP.

Finished Falling recorded a 3-song demo with Justin in his basement studio and we couldn't have asked for anything better. His prices are great, he's a laid back guy and he really takes his time to work with you and make sure everything turns out how you want it. We cranked out 3 songs in less than 8 hours and he got back to us with the mixed and mastered tracks just a few days later. We'll definitely come back to him for studio time in the future!

My band recorded a 6 song demo with Justin in 2013. It came out awesome. Justin really knows his stuff when it comes to gear and mics. He was professional, helpful and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We did not have to worry about what was going on at the board or how things needed to be set up so we could focus on performing. We did a lot of of work in 18 hours and had a good time doing it. I could not recommend him highly enough.

Justin mixed my first record and the results were excellent. I sent him raw digital tracks from the recording session and he promptly sent back an initial mix for each song. For many songs he practically nailed the mix right off the bat, and for the others he was very open to my suggestions or came up with many creative solutions based on my feedback. He is definitely an expert, has a good ear, and knows his tools. If you like reverb, Justin is a master of reverb. Lastly, there is no better bang for the buck than Justin, and for that reason I'd recommend him to any indie band. I tried several other mixing engineers, some of which were much more expensive, and none of them could touch Justin's mixes, and that's not to mention that his attitude, musical intuition, and communication style surpassed those of the others as well. After the mixes were done and the songs were mastered, I needed instrumental-only versions for certain publishers. Justin expertly matched the mastering job of the originals and ended up mastering the instrumental versions for every song on the album. Next time, I am just going to have him master my work as well!

Working with Justin was a great experience. It was my first time going to an actual studio and Justin provided an exceptional amount of assistance even before we hit the studio. I'd definitely recommend him to a friend, and I plan on working with him again. This was an amazing experience and I'm very happy with the finished product.
