- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have flat rate pricing for each service that I offer: personal training, group training, online coaching, and customized ebooks.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually my process is fairly straight forward and simple: 1) Interested party contacts me 2) We discuss their needs, goals, and budget 3) We discuss pricing and options 4) I answer any questions they have along the way 5) I send them an "intake packet" to fill out which gives us a much deeper look into their current and past health. The packet includes a health screening, goals, amount of time they can commit each week, and more. 6) I begin building a program for them to follow either with us in person, or through our online service. 7) I continue to be there to provide answers, motivation, modifications, and anything else which can to help them along.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We, as trainers, are constantly required to continue our education in order to maintain our certifications and insurance. Our certifications must be renewed every two years and within those two years we are required to continue our education with various other classes, seminars, events, and certifications of our choosing. I hold a nationally recognized personal training certification through ACE (American Council on Exercise) along with various other certifications and schooling including nutrition, boot camps, group exercise, and exercise programming.
