- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We don't have a complicated pricing system at all. Our programs are set at 1 price. If you are outside of a 30 mile radius from our "facilty" then we add mileage for the extra. The only other pricing change would be if you decided to add some extras onto your party. Extras such as posters, shirts, etc. Other than that, it's one affordable fee to have us come out to you!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do constant research. I am always online reading about animals in the news, updates on new discoveries and more. I also continue to read about the animals that we care for to ensure that if there have been any changes in what has been found out about them we are able to pass that information along to our customers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
This all started as a hobby. When my kids were younger I would take our pet snake and gecko into their preschool, kindergarten, etc. and show the class. I then volunteered for another organization and also worked at the Cincinnati Zoo. I received animal handling training and learned some great information on what the public enjoys most about this type of thing. I also learned what NOT to do. So after the research and having the passion for animals and education that I have, the business began.
