Introduction: I began teaching piano lessons while I was in high school. I have a B.A. Degree in Music Education with a major in piano. I have taught students from age four through 82! I have directed a 120-piece award-winning marching band, symphonic band and jazz bands. I have been a church choir director and pianist. I have trained many piano students to perform for The American Guild of Pianists; however, it's not a requirement. My approach to piano lessons is to individualize what parents and students want to learn. There are over 20 beginning piano methods currently.
