I mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks. I wash glassware and utensils after each use. I also pour wine and beer. I collect payment and operate a cash register. I also serve food to customers seated at the bar. I do check identification of customers to make sure they meet the age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products. I also determine when a customer has had too much alcohol. I clean up after customers and clean the work area. I order and maintain liquor and bar supplies. I arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays. I also serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner. I handle and move objects, such as glasses and bottles, using hands and arms, order supplies from outside vendors, and monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies. I mix ingredients according to drink recipes. I also perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping. I sell or influence others.
