FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We don't have a complicated pricing system for our service. Most interactive ad agencies and Internet marketing firms will offer clients an a la carte menu for the services they provide, but we often find that creates silos and gaps between marketing and sales. It also creates a noticeable disconnect when it comes to brand position and messaging. We trying to keep our pricing as simple as possible by working with you before hand on the scope of work required and an estimated cost to create those deliverables.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! We are lifelong learners and practitioners in our field. In an industry that is constantly changing we are always looking to improve ourselves and make it applicable to the work we do for our clients. We fear complacency when it comes to being left behind because that means no longer being relevant or valuable. If we aren't constantly sharpening our pencil that means we have nothing to offer and cease to be experts and authority figures in our field. Most of our continuing education comes free online from niche sources within our industry that focus on specific subject matter whether that be website design, email marketing, content marketing, SEO, etc. We also occasionally pay for online courses and webinars or attend in-person conferences.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We didn't really decide to get into website design and Internet marketing. It evolved from our early days in traditional media like still photography and video production. We were still undergraduates when we bought a copy of Adobe Photoshop 4.0. At the same time the Internet was still in its infancy with the original social media platforms know as bulletin boards and forums. We became involved with a Photoshop user group that exchanged ideas and best practices on graphic design. We bought a copy of Macromedia Dreamweaver (now owned by Adobe) and started creating static HTML websites. Our first website we ever built was for the fraternity we belonged to because we were way off-campus and as we are sure you are aware of everything is about location, location, location. We immediately saw the potential and the future of digital marketing to even the playing field with our competitors. Ever since then we have been keeping up with the latest changes and techniques for what makes a great online user experience and how to use it to create new leads and sales.
